Hi amin,
For the first part of your question, you can find full information about point and vertical source in the program manual. About your case study, the suitable source for cavity applications is the point source. The good results will be obtained by adjusting the location of the source.
Dear Sridarshini,
if you want to use more than input you you can follow the following
Draw—->Vertical input plane or horizontal
then change position and direction
you can repeat this steps several times
Thank you
I will read it and try to apply
Hi Damian,
Till now i wait for your help if you can because all my application I want to do not confirmed with the published papers. I tried all my effort to change any thing related to the structure. I think there is a mystery to adjust the source setting. Can you check my design again.
Thanks

Hi Damian,
I made your steps but till now the results not confirmed with that in the attached paper.
Thank you Damian,
I made what you told for the structure, but from my knowledge that the PBG was drawn before building the structure to discriminate the gap and pass windows.
Another thing when i build the structure as shown in the attached paper one figure confirmed and the other not. I am attached the structure after build it. For my application I want to let one input exist (high) and the other (low)!!!!!
please help me to do this.
Thanks again for your reply,
Tamer
