Sir,
You see that when length increases from 50 to 160 km Q factor falls from 45.8 to 12 and BER also increases to 6.7*10 E-37. But Extinction ratio and OSNR almost stays constant. There should also be a gradual degradation in OSNR as well with increasing distance and Bit Error Rate.
Further mentioned that eye amplitudes and Jitter are given in units of (a.u). One respected reviewer and even I am confused about this wording. What does it represent? I think jitter should be in pico seonds or nano seconds rather than a.u. Similarly eye height should be in volts or amperes rather than a.u. Please comment.

Sir,
Max. OSNR is recorded through WDM analyzer connected before photo detector. And Exrtinction Ratio (dB) is collected from Bit Error Rate Analyzer’s report sectio

Sir,
Running an older version is because of budget limitations. I have run this program on core-i7 with 8 Gb RAM platform but issue is still there.
Can you please suggest how much memory this software requires to conduct simulations smoothly.
Snap shot of my file is attached.
