    hello Mohammed Abouseif,
    Thank you for your reply…I got a clarity now on this.
    Also, do you know any challenges faced by UDWDM PON system so that I can focus my research more toward that way and thus I can save time. I am working on it past 3 months but couldn’t find any challenge to work on it. Please just let me know if any. It would be of great help for me.

    Hi all,
    can anyone please tell me what is the exact relation between Q factor and BER?
    I am working on UDWDM PON systems where in I tried to design a basic WDM PON design in which I got a few results as shown in attached file below.
    please have a look at it once and help me in this regard.

    how do we measure Q factor with respect to bit period (in time)? i mean how to read the graph.i have attached the plot

    dear Alitsu,
    are you working in UDWDM PON technologies? if it is so, I would like to know the present challenges faced by this technology as I too am working on it.please help me out in this regard
