I am not using the built in DSP block for QPSK because I have implemented the ADC separately.

Were you able to solve your problem this way ?
Damian, can you suggest how this predistorter would be employed to mitigate the nonlinearity introduced by an MZM ?
Thank you Burhan
I have the same queries
Damian, is there any example that shows the working of the pre-distortion component ?
Anyone?
As you have quite a lot idea of matlab interfacing, I’d be pleased if you could help me with the interfacing.
I have initialised my output with OutputPort1 = InputPort1; and after doing all the work on the input signal I want to assign it to output.
I end the code with OutputPort1.Sampled.Signal = InterleavedSignal
In matlab after this assignment, I can successfully plot the OutputPort1.Sampled.Signal but the signal does not show up back in optisystem
Thank you Aabid, I shall go through this
Thank you Karan, Aabid and Burhan
Thank you Karan for such valuable information.
second order harmonics are minimal at quadrature point as you said.
Do you know at what point are third order harmonics minimal ?
Also can you give a mathematical explanation for this ?
Thank you Hamza
Maybe its a memory issue
I am using windows 10 and the system has 4Gb RAM
It gives the error as seen in the screenshot
