Hi shiva, no osd file is there.Kindly attach the file and we all forum members help you for your goal.
Hello hosam, welcome to optiwave. I would like to troubleshoot your issues, but sorry ,do not able to see any file attached by you. Forum members can help you,if you share your simulation file.
Moreover, you can see the tutorials given by optiwave to getting start software and advance simulation examples. You can find these in samples.

Hello Shaalu, spectrum slicing is popular area of research nowadays. I can help if you share simulation file and research article on which you are working.

Hello eric, i am not able to see your simulation file. Could you attach it again
Gaganpreet Kaur, i agree with your concern. If there is more participants ,we can share and learn more, but now very limited discussion are there. I think there is also some change in point system of Optiwave which was rewarded few moths back. Participants interact with other members to gain knowledge and at the same time get rewards for their work. No doubt , optiwave is providing gift and encourage new participants, but i dont know the new policy or rules of optiwave, but reward of points is lesser now than before.
You can contact Damian or optiwave team for this problem. From optiwave provided trial softwares are of latest version optisystem 14. Ask them and see if they can help.
Hi windy, see your inbox. I have sent you detailed answer and if you will need further help then post here. Other forum members and i, try to solve that problem.
Regards
Damian is correct, this is a common problem for the new users of optisystem. Generally in optisystem forum ,most of participants use latest version of the software and post simulation files. However, you cannot run advance version file in older one. If you facing problem that you have no access to new version or it is expired. Then you can extend license by contacting optiwave or ask for screen shot of the file , so as you will be able to make it in your version.

Hi, i got a solution of Q (db)
As by default scale of y axis set to Q fctor( dimensioess), you need to change it to logarithmic
Steps to change
run simulation > double click on BER analyzer >on left side a blue box appears as i attached in snapshot > thed clck on it and go to propertirs> y axis> click on it> dialog box appear > change scale type to logarithmic
here you will Q(dB) values from y axis.
Hi shymaa
There is some good questions you have asked. First of all one other forum member has query related to similar topic of DWDM at 25G Hz spacing and 40G data rate. Kindly also check her discussion time to time as you will most probably face similar issues while implementation.
Kindly attach the simulation file if you made roughly and answer of these question as follows
Kindly check the optisystem samples
Samples>transmitter> duobinary return to zero
This will show the single channel DRZ format and you can also check the modulator settings of DRZ. As ican see, two modulators are having different modulation voltages however bias voltages are fixed.
Kindly double click on modulator and go to help for more information about component.
You can consider rise time 0 to 1. but for your case 0.01 is fine and you will get acceptable results.
EDFA amplifier noise and gain depends upon the pump power wavelength and length of fiber. In general we consider noise 4dB of amplifier EDFA
Q-factor that you can see on BER is in linear domain (dimensionless) However you can convert values manually by by applying log function to it.
Yes you can use the script for conversion, but this will be done by help of optiwave technical assistance.
Hope you get some answers and if you can attach file then it would be better

Your work is possible as other scholars achieved even more channels and data rate recently.
These are some recent papers links

https://www.ijedr.org/papers/IJEDR1503023.pdf

Study them and you will get some information and you will face any problem then let me know.

Hi Gagan
Since you are getting goodresults at 10 Gbps, your system works fine. Now the problem you are facing of not getting Q factor in acceptable limits
at 40 Gbps.
Now can you attach simulation file you have made for better understanding of the problem.
1. Have you used EDFA in system
2. Try for less distance as with the increase of data rate, quality decreases and BER increases.
3. Try for 50GHz or 100GHz at 40 Gbps . It you get results then it means this much speed is not suported at 25 GHz. If you have any base paper then share its link.
4.How much input power you are using, because it intiate nonlinear effects
5. Are you using c Band or any other band
6. Is there DCF for dispersion companstion
7. Bandwidth of mux demux
These are basic questions however if you can share file then thats very good to know real problem.

Hi ebrahim, welcome to optiwave.
As your query regarding optisystem software, i suggest you to read the similar topics on internet. There are many research article in the context of this topic. Study or watch the examples tutorials given by optiwave and try to make simulation with practicle values. If you will face any issue, reply back and i will help you for further work.
Optisystem published a 40 Gbps DWDM FSO system in publication section. I will post the link as well as some more important paper on this topic.

Damian or Ravil, can you help me in this work. As I did not get any response from last three days, this work is little typical but expect reply from both of you. Only I need is, fuzzy logic that work in MATLAB component present in optisystem. I had visited forum six months ago and Damian was the moderator then.If moderator is changed then please help or reply .
